About the Event

BraveIT 2019, an event held on September 19 in New York City, was the second in a series of annual shows designed to help IT professionals make sense of technology advancements in AI, cybersecurity, and blockchain, as well as business drivers like cloud migration, disaster recovery, digital transformation, and data security.

Hosted and powered by TierPoint, a data center and managed services provider, BraveIT 2019 drew hundreds of IT managers, analysts, CIOs, CTOs, engineers and product managers. Attendees shared ideas and advice on IT security, emerging technologies, business continuity and the future of data centers. The half-day event featured panel discussions, workshops, peer-to-peer sessions and talks by top IT executives and analysts from leading organizations such as Goldman Sachs, Live Nation, Forrester and many others.

2019 Brave IT Award Winner

Uriel Ash

Israel Medical Fund

Ash is one of many IT role models who contribute their time and energy to improve the IT “quality of life” in their communities.

“Events like these are important within the industry. There is so much of this that we’re still learning and there are a lot of different thought leaders in the industry. Nobody has the right answer yet. And being able to come at a conference like this with the sharing of ideas [and] having people challenge those ideas – it’s a way to help prove out what is actually going to be our future in this IT world”

Matthew Gavitt, Program Manager at Schneider Electric
